Everglades Airboat Safari

Overview

Explore the Everglades on an airboat adventure. This tour includes transportation, park entrance, airboat ride, the airboat tour, and free time to walk the park and see all the alligator exhibits. Have the chance to see alligators up close in their natural habitat, as well as the many exhibits scattered throughout the park. This half day tour departs twice daily at 9:30 and 1:30.

Alligators…they are inexplicable! They are atrocious! They are exciting! And above all, they are must see when you are in the Everglades. If you wish to get up-close and personal with alligators then there’s no better way out than taking alligator tours.

Everglades airboat safari was ok overall...felt like airboat safari was too short ...its just 30 min but ofcourse we did spot 2 alligators.... To go on this tour we need to go thru Maimi tours double decker bus for transportation which was horrible and we have to goto downtown Miami to take the bus and its an hour ride. ...If you have a car its better to drive to park directly... Miami Tours and Travels people were not at all customer friendly and VERY RUDE... especially Scott who organizes and bus driver... Overall I would not recommend Miami Tours though...Everglades is doable on our own if you have car...

The coach was due at 13:20 it arrived at 14:00 we then sat for 35 minutes at Bayside before a few people got on the coach. Finally arrived at the Airboat boarding station at 15:35 didn't see much from the boat but that's pot luck really not sure where we were supposed to be having time to eat, 20 minutes stop after the everglades ride then back to Miami. The commentary " don't forget to tip your driver" but it was in Spanish and English. Take my tip and drive to the Airboat station avoiding the shambolic so called organised tour from this mob!!

The tour was cancelled after we reached Miami. Did not get a chance to experience the service only that it was cancelled 2 days before the safari even though it was booked a month ago. Overall the safari is a good option to have fun with family in Miami , we did do the tour on the same day with another tour provider.
