Overview

Explore the Everglades on an airboat adventure. This tour includes transportation, park entrance, airboat ride, the airboat tour, and free time to walk the park and see all the alligator exhibits. Have the chance to see alligators up close in their natural habitat, as well as the many exhibits scattered throughout the park. This half day tour departs twice daily at 9:30 and 1:30.

Alligators…they are inexplicable! They are atrocious! They are exciting! And above all, they are must see when you are in the Everglades. If you wish to get up-close and personal with alligators then there’s no better way out than taking alligator tours.

Overall the trip was average. We left the starting point 15 minutes late after major confusion of which bus to ride. Because there was no organization on the sidewalk, many people just walked up and cut in front of people who had been waiting their turn in line. Once arriving at the park, we were herded into another waiting area with animals. It was interesting but much too long!! The actual boat trip was great and captain Jeff was fabulous!! This is not an experience I would book again.

Really cool trip and we enjoyed seeing the alligators and other cool animals and reptiles. The airboat was the highlight and my boys (7 and 5) really enjoyed it. My only concern was the amount of times we were asked to tip! Firstly by the bus driver, then the guide, the alligator keeper and even the airboat driver. The tours aren’t cheap so why are these people not being paid properly?!

It is not in the Everglades National Park. The airboat ride was very cool. We only saw one gator and a few birds. The bus driver was not friendly, in fact he was very rude and careless while driving. Overall, it was probably worth the money but the driver did not earn his tip even though we did give him one.
