A fun 2 hours. Nature, airboat, gators, and comedian(captain Mark). Well worth the stop. If you’re in the area and have an hour or 2, you’ll be glad you came here.

Our concierge booked this tour for us when we asked for a tour of the Everglades. This is not what we have had in the past. When we arrived at the park, we lined up like cattle to board the airboats. This is not one of the smaller airboats you usually wee. These are open only on the sides and take about 30 people on each boat. We did see an alligator that the boat driver saw. We spied a great blue heron and two iguanas on an is,and just across from the dock as we returned. The pilot was thrilled with going fast for a short period of time. He does toss some bread in the water to show how the fish and birds grab it up. The speaker on the front of the boat is very loud so you will have no trouble hearing comments from the pilot even thought the motor on the boat is very noisy. There are at least four other boats with about 30 each on them very close to you so it is not a small private tour. When you return to the dock, you can watch an alligator show which was interesting for about half an hour. They have some animals out for you to see, but they should put signs up so you know what you are looking at. There is food service and bathrooms available.

First off, thank you for coming to visit our park Libby! We value your honest feedback Libby as a tool to better the experience for you and future visitors. We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with certain aspects during your time with us. We do offer private tours, which allow you to cater your experience to your liking. You have the opportunity to venture further in to the Everglades, hit some more speed trails, and enjoy your time with a smaller group of people. We hope you'll consider giving us another chance in the future, and thanks again for sharing your experience with us!

We had a day off from our spring training games and wanted to see some of the Everglades. There are a lot of options for airboats, so it can be a bit confusing. We went with this one, because it was closer than all the others and the boats were covered. Is it a great Everglades experience? Not really, but it was fun and at least a little instructive. It is a Brevard County facility, and it is very well organized and run. We got a 50% military discount for both of us, which was really nice. The ride was fine for $35 for the two of us; it would not have been so good for $70. They have an excellent system for getting folks on the boats in order of arrival. Our "Captain Erin" was humorous. On the ride itself, you see a lot a grassy marshland, birds, and--with luck--an alligator or two. It was nice to be covered from the Florida sun. I'm sure there are better airboat experiences, but you have to go a long way to get to them. This is a decent compromise.
