We went to the park after a cruise because we had a late flight home. We had to wait in line for the airboats, but you get a free picture. We had Captain Charlie. He was great! Very knowledgeable about the everglades and fun to ride with. My husband said he wasn't with me in line, so it was a big joke on the boat. We only saw 2 alligators, probably because it was still cold. I was amazed at the size of the iguanas. We are going back in March with our granddaughter.

We got to the park along with several tour buses, so the crowds made it a bit chaotic. After buying tickets, we waited in line for 40 minutes, although it looked like there were several empty boats waiting to take us on the water. There must be some kind of incentive program for the boat operator guides because our guide said, "Here at Everglades Holiday Park..." AT LEAST 50 times during our boat tour; it was distracting and quite irritating. However, it was neat to see the Everglades and a few alligators while we were on the boat.

Definitely your Go-to spot for everything outdoors. My boyfriend and I go about every weekend to our secret fishing spot; never a dull moment. Weather it’s an amazing airboat ride into the deep Everglades or your first gator show with the real “Florida gator Boys ”, or fishing and great food. I definitely have to point out someone I got to know over our past visit, no matter how busy or how hot -even if there’s a line down the street ; Mike (at the front food stand window cafe) is a super fast upbeat down to earth hard working individual and I hope you get recognition for how hard you work. He literally does everything. He takes the order and makes the order and gets it done in a calm but yet orderly manner. But only someone in the business know how stressful things can get and I appreciate your hard work and funny jokes. Holiday park is the best fishing spot known in Florida, if you haven’t been your missing out. -
