Off-season tours can be difficult, especially for birding and wildlife viewing. For our family, it was great, because we had a tour all to ourselves. Our tour guide was knowledgable about both natural and cultural history of the area. She was very engaging and enthusiastic, and kept us moving at the right place. She and both the airboat and boat captains were very accommodating, and worked hard to get us good wildlife views. Even in the heat of summer, we managed to view over 40 bird species, plenty of alligators and a combined family of dolphins, along with tons of great photos to remember it all. I definitely recommend these folks for the great service they provide.

Rhett was our guide for the day, he was great! Very knowledgeable about wildlife, history of the Everglades, very friendly. I have been on airboat tours before and really didn’t see anything. I was pleasantly surprised by the abundant wildlife that we saw. The only reason I didn’t mark this tour as excellent is because I really didn’t care for the ride through the cypress reserve. Our bus was full and unless you were in the left side you couldn’t really see anything. The boat ride on the gulf was also great. Dolphin surfing was a new experience for me. Overall I recommend this tour. It is all day and at times very hot. So dress cool and have a hat and sunscreen.

We had a great time!! On tour guide, Rhett, picked us up on time and was wonderful throughout the day. He was very informative and you could tell he had a passion for the everglades and wildlife. The airboat ride was great and we saw plenty of alligators and other wildlife. On our drive to lunch, he had many stories to tell and stopped along the way to ensure we saw the wildlife. Rhett even switched our last boat ride to another location as he discovered we had already taken a boat ride in Goodland. And the place he took us was awesome!! We had quite a few dolphins sightings and the guide even got them to chase the boat a couple of times. The safari walk was great as well. Again, Rhett, showed his passion while walking and showing us everything. Highly recommend!!
