What To Expect
1
Exit Glacier
This is where your Glacier Hiking Adventure takes place. The hike up the mountain is approximately 1.5 miles, with 1,500 feet of elevation gain - this is the most physically exerting part of the trip. This is the part of the trip that requires the overall rating to be Strenuous. 8-Hour Tour: The 8-hour tour departs at 8:00am and returns at 4:00pm. The whole tour will last about 8 hours in total, with the possibility of spending upwards of 2 to 4 hours on the ice! The "ice-time" all depends on how long the hike up the mountains takes as a group. We do not rush any part of this trip, and the group will move together at a comfortable pace. *The 8-hr tour offers a more relaxed/flexible pace with more rest breaks, if needed.
2
Kenai Fjords National Park
At the edge of the Kenai Peninsula lies a land where the ice age lingers. Nearly 40 glaciers flow from the Harding Icefield, Kenai Fjords’ crowning feature. Wildlife thrives in icy waters and lush forests around this vast expanse of ice. Native Alutiiq relied on these resources to nurture a life entwined with the sea.

Absolutely amazing experience with Shea doing the Exit Glacier Ice Hiking Adventure! This was hands down our favorite experience that we had in Alaska during our honeymoon. Our tour guide, Shea, was the nicest person and made us feel extremely comfortable and safe during our hike. You simply cannot ask for a better tour guide and person to lead you on your hike. We would definitely do this hike again or use this company if we came back to the Seward area. Thank you so much Shea for making us have memories on our honeymoon that will last a lifetime! Highly recommend this hike and if you get Shea, you're in amazing hands and will have a blast!

Great tour! The guides very extra-ordinary (ask for Liv and Brandon if you can) They are very safety oriented, fun, talented and show you some cool spots. PS: the lunch was fantastic as well!

Our guides Shae and Brandon were awesome and this experience was unforgettable! Would absolutely recommend taking advantage of this opportunity. The hike was strenuous but our guides were patient and encouraging and did their best to make sure everyone in our group, of all skill levels, had a unique and memorable adventure. Truly a once in a lifetime chance to walk a glacier!
