Savannah’s Historic District encompasses more than 20 city squares laid out in a distinctive grid pattern by General James E. Oglethorpe, founder of the British Colony of Georgia in 1733

Chippewa Square

Chippewa Square is named for an event on the northern border with Canada. In the Battle of Chippewa, in 1814, American forces emerged victorious over the British near Niagara Falls, and when Chippewa Square was built in 1815.

What a wonderful tour! Our tour guide was Big Scott who was absolutely perfect. His personal knowledge of Savannah added so much to the tour. I have toured on the other two trolleys in Savannah and this one with Kelly Tours was clearly the best.

“BS” Big Scott was an awesome tour guide! Learned a lot and glad we did the tour. We ended up with a “private” tour @ 4pm. Nobody else on the tour!!!

Great Tour! Not too long so the kids dont get bored. John was a great tour guide, and I like how he told personal stories which related to the tour.
