Eye-level whale watching onboard our low-to-water small group rafts.

Native Hawaiian owned and voted TripAdvisors Traveler's Choice, Hawaii Ocean Rafting has been Maui’s original ocean rafting experience for more than 30 years. Our small group tours make for a fun, family style experience. Although whales are protected in Hawaii, they often approach our small boats for closer and eye level whale encounters.

Off season (Summer) join us for 2 Hour Dolphin Watching Tours.

We are just a short drive from Kaanapali, Kahana, Napili, Kapalua and other West Maui accommodations. And a fun destination for visitors staying in Kihei or Wailea.

Plan to get wet! This is a low to water boat- ocean spray and light rain can occur during tour.

Life jackets are provided for emergencies but are not required to be worn during the tour.

Departure and Return will be in Lahaina Maui- always arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure time so you don't miss boarding your boat!

2 Hour or 1.5 Hour Eye-Level Adventure Whale Watch Tour (Seasonal Dec-April) 2 Hour Eye-Level Adventure Dolphin Watch Sightsee Tour (Seasonal May-Nov) Your tour will include marine mammal encounters, sightseeing from the ocean and educational talks from our marine naturalist guides! Enjoy small group low-to-water rafting vessels for Maui's best eye-level ocean encounter!

Captain Jack was knowledgeable, very friendly and funny! He knew right where to go to see the whales! His crew member (sorry I have forgotten her name) was so impressive with her knowledge of the whales and provided so many details about their journey.
