We had a great time on the river! Very personalized and fun experience. We always felt safe and the whitewater was thrilling. Having a chance to jump from one of the high rocks into the river was really cool! Each of the guides seemed to really love what they were doing and made it memorable. We'll be ready even wilder whitewater on the next trip!

A thunderstorm with high winds passed over and pushed us up steam. Our guide said we were on level two rapids at the time. An adventure no one is going to believe when we share it with them at our summer night camp fires.

This was the best adventure! It was amazing for several reasons…Kirby knew the river so well and was such a great informed guide, we were able to swim in the beautiful river during part of our rafting trip, there were plenty of opportunities to get wet so we didn’t get too hot, we went with 2 other couples from back home so we had lots of laughs, we stayed in the adorable green cabin which is within 100ft of the rafting company, and even as 50 yr olds we could handle the paddling needed on the trip. It was so fun!!!! Next time we’re getting Kirby to take us on the Lower Gauley!!
