We were looking for a gentle beginner experience. This trip was perfect. Guides were friendly and knowledgeable. They took time to point out local history, wildlife, and taught us about the river. They genuinely seemed to enjoy guiding. Scenery was gorgeous, rapids were fun, but not overwhelming for kids or beginners. A great way to spend and afternoon on the river.

My husband and son went on the afternoon white water rafting experience with Cassie. We booked four rafters but had to cancel two. My son and husband had an amazing time. They said it was a thrilling experience. Cassie was a wonderful guide, keeping them safe and sharing stories of her experience. We will definitely be back, so all Four of us can experience. I researched several companies for this trip, and this was the company that had the best reviews. We also stayed two nights in the brand new cabins on the property. They were clean, adorable, and the owners responded promptly to questions. Staff were on property during the day setting up the rafts and were super friendly and happy! You could tell that they loved their jobs! Cassie, Wolfman (another guide) Owner Rob, Kirby, Francesca (cabin manager) provided a great experience.

West Virginia Adventures absolutely crushed this white water rafting trip! We had 10 total between our two families, and Ray and Rob did an outstanding job from start to finish. It was a perfect match between mad paddling to line up for the rapids and tranquil coasting between runs. Highlight of the summer, hands down!
