Florida Bioluminescence Kayaking Tour | Haulover canal (Titusville)

Overview
Florida bioluminescence is the #1 kayaking trip in the Orlando, Cocoa beach area. We are located about an hour from Universal Studios and The Walt Disney world area theme parks. Our "tourist tours or "visitor tours", as the locals would call them, are ideal for a romantic evening on the water or an expedition in the name of science with the little ones (as long as they are over 5yrs of age). Our tour guides will guide you through the Indian River lagoon and show you something truly magical as we make our way through mangrove trails and the shallow flats of the lagoon.

We will spend a leisurely 90 mins on the water during this tour. You may want to leave the camera at home for this excursion, as the bioluminescence is very hard to photograph unless you have professional equipment.

My boyfriend and I went at 9pm on 8/26/20 and our guide was Chuck. He was GREAT!!! Very knowledgable about the wildlife and history of Haulover canal. Some of the people in our group weren't very strong kayakers, so we cut the trip a bit short, but regardless it was such an awesome experience!! Try go when there is a new moon (so the sky is completely dark), we lucked out with some clouds covering the half full moon. Really great time!

This was our first time doing this. It was a beautiful night to be out on the water. We did the 9pm tour. It was awesome to see all the fish jumping and to see the glow of the water. A fish even jumped in my kayak..LOL! Our guides were Ashley and Bonnie and they were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of the area. We want to come back and do a sunset one and another night tour. So fun!!!
