Prepare yourself for a great afternoon with the Tour That Tastes Good! You will be greeted by one of our good-looking and brainy tour guides, who will be eager to escort you to historic restaurants with wonderful ambiance. There you will taste mouthwatering local dishes, such as Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, and the Muffaletta sandwich. A praline for dessert is included! You will glide through our fabulous French Quarter, founded in 1718. You will admire historic St. Louis Cathedral, named after King Louis IX, who was truly a Saint. He led the seventh and eighth Crusades back in the 13th century. Across the way from the Cathedral is beautiful Jackson Square. If you are interested, the 1850 House on the Square has a nice selection of cookbooks and history books. Regarding the diverse architecture, there is no other place in the country like it. Greek revival buildings stand next modest Shotgun houses. Admire the wrought iron balconies and galleries. We welcome you!

Booking I booked this directly by researching the best food tours. Entrance The meeting location is at a restaurant. Naif was waiting at the door in a red shirt. He welcomed us and showed us the table inside. Tour Naif is a real jewel. He bought this business from the founders because he loves giving tours. He is a former school teacher who has been doing this for many years. The locations were all inside so we were warm. His narrative was fun and educational. Food Outstanding. All the stops were great. History We also learned about the history of New Orleans and its food. Family My mom and teenage boys loved this tour. We all thought it was the highlight of our trip to New Orleans Overall I've been on food tours in more than ten countries and this is by far the best.

We were able to taste a variety of local foods at New Orleans venues. We also got a bit of a New Orleans and Louisiana history of food, culture, and music. NaĆÆf was very familiar with the venues and managers.
