The culinary history tour provided us with a wonderful way to learn about New Orleans culinary style and history all at a relaxed pace. Our tour guide Michael was quite knowledgeable and attentive to the group. Each stop was ready for our arrival and had our culinary delight ready for our tasing. Although drinks were not included in the tour there was ample opportunity to sample local favorites as well. The history side of the tour was mixed in while walking and awaiting out tasting and worked well. The tour also provided an opportunity to burn some calories and take in the sights and sounds as we walked. The three hour time span worked well never felt rushed bored. Very nice way to spend the afternoon in New Orleans.

The Culinary History Tour was well worth the investment of an afternoon's walking. Entertaining, informative, and with enough little tastes along the way, that we opted to skip dinner. (Well, okay, a bottle of wine, with cheese and crackers on the balcony; and a praline or two!) Candy was an excellent tour guide; very personable, and I don't think there was any question that she couldn't answer. My only regret was that our calendar did not allow us to schedule the tour at the beginning of our trip, instead of the end; I would have liked to enjoy a meal at each of the restaurants that we visited. Good value.

This was a great tour especially for first timers to the Quarter! There was a lot of history, just enough food to make you want more and ask the guide anything they'll know the answer! Never thought we'd get to meet Chef Regua at Antoines and ask him questions! Wish I had been better prepared! Would highly recommend!
