Taking this tour on Sunday afternoon leading into Mardi Gras we snaked through the French Quarter crowds with our local treasure & guide, Mary LaCoste. With just 4 of us on the tour, Mary provided colorful history of the cocktails (Grasshopper, Absinthe, Sazerac and French 75) and the bars and points in between. BONUS: We were able to see back rooms at Tujacques. Also the Arnaudā€™s Germaine Wells Mardi Gras Museum & elegant dining rooms set for Krewe gala events at Antoine's. There are not enough superlatives to describe this tour. Thank you Mary!

The tour includes 7 tastings, all unique to New Orleans. Our guide, Anna was fabulous. The history she provided was interesting and not tedious or boring. The tour included not only tastings at each restaurant, but their history as well. We also were able to see more courtyards, rooms, costumes, and kitchens. Very well worth our time! Our group consisted of 7 people, a very good number to feel a part of the conversations. Wonderful!

My group was very pleased with New Orleans Culinary History Tours. We had to accommodate a very large and diverse party in New Orleans on a Corporate Outing. Tours were organized in smaller groups, with differant starting times so each venue experience was intimate and managable. Mike Hamilton was extremely helpful organizing this event. Our tour guides were exceptionally knowledgable about local architecture, history of the region and the many culinary dishes we tasted. The food was wonderful and the variety of restaurants we visited was a nice mix. Afterwards, an internal survey ranked this experience A+ (best score ever).
