We took a walking tour of the French Quarter that concentrated on architecture and history. It was quite fascinating and the tour guide was extremely knowledgable. This is a great way to see the Quarter up close and personal.

Our guide George was a star. He took us for the walking tour esplaining everything about the French quarter. We now have a much better understand of the city. Highly recommended if you want to remember something about the French quarter other than drinking on Bourbon street.

This walking tour of the French Quarter really helped us get our bearings. We did this the morning of our first full day in New Orleans. We learned a lot about the history and architecture of the French Quarter. Our guide, Suzy, was very knowledgeable and gave us some tips about other things to see in the Quarter. It was fairly warm and sunny, but Suzy did her best to keep us in the shade as much as possible. The walking is mostly on flat ground and the total distance is only about a mile, so not a difficult walk. Highly recommended!
