This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well.

We use the VOX Whisper System. Staff is responsible for cleaning each machine. The ear and mic buds are disposable. Units will only be used once per week to allow for rotating a clean unit to guests & guides. Guests can remove mask outside during the tour, inside state law requires a mask.

We went initially to tour the 1850 house and found that it was closed on Monday's, but we got free admission for the following day to the museum with the purchase of a French Quarter walking tour. David was entertaining and knowledgeable! The information not only about history, but also of culture and architecture made this tour very memorable. Thank you for making our morning fantastic!

I spent the fist 35 years of my life in New Orleans.. When ever i return I explore the French Quarter ... It is one of the most interesting places.. even for a local.. I definately recommend taking the Friends of the Cabildo tour. Not only is the house they are located in a Treasure to see and experience.. but their guides are motivated by a love of the CIty of New Orleans and Its History.. Intellegent well spoken and highly informed These dedicated guides know the French Quarter and every time I take the tour.. I learn something new about the city of my birth.. Highly Highly recommended...
