This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well.

We use the VOX Whisper System. Staff is responsible for cleaning each machine. The ear and mic buds are disposable. Units will only be used once per week to allow for rotating a clean unit to guests & guides. Guests can remove mask outside during the tour, inside state law requires a mask.

If you are looking for a great French Quarter walking tour check this out! We took a great tour narrated by a New Orleans native. She was engaging and so passionate about the tour. Would definitely recommend!

100% of proceeds go to the support historical sites and museums. Worth every penny. It was a nice 2 hour walking tour. Very informative. Enjoyed learning about the Pontalba building, Jackson square, The Calbildo, St. Louis Cathedral, and the Louisiana State Museum. Plus the many other historical buildings throughout the quarter. Would highly recommend this tour

What a great way to be introduced to this city. Locals Christine and husband Bob gave us more than the sheduled 2 hour tour ($20) and it was so informative. Just 6 in the group so perfect size. They offer the tour twice a day and the price includes a tour of the house where the museum is based. Strongly recommended as a non-commercialized, very intelligent but friendly way to get to know the French Quarter history, architecture and culture.
