This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well.

We use the VOX Whisper System. Staff is responsible for cleaning each machine. The ear and mic buds are disposable. Units will only be used once per week to allow for rotating a clean unit to guests & guides. Guests can remove mask outside during the tour, inside state law requires a mask.

Our guide was Stuart, and we were the only ones signed up for the tour, as it was raining fairly heavily. We had umbrellas but also opted for the ponchos Stuart was kind enough to bring along for us. Despite the weather, the three of us marched on and the tour was great. Stuart frequently included interesting little obscure facts about the people and places we were learning about. I highly recommend this tour and if Stuart is your guide, so much the better.
