This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well.

We use the VOX Whisper System. Staff is responsible for cleaning each machine. The ear and mic buds are disposable. Units will only be used once per week to allow for rotating a clean unit to guests & guides. Guests can remove mask outside during the tour, inside state law requires a mask.

Our tour guide Nick was full of stories, facts, and history. It was completely worthwhile. We even survived the heat because Nick was so engaging.

Was in town for a couple days and did this tour while my husband worked. John Hopper is a wonderful guide, and very witty! I liked that he carried some maps and other visual aids with him to show us while he showed us the French’s quarter. Highly recommend this tour!

DO NOT MISS THIS HISTORIC TOUR OF NEW ORLEANS!!!! The Cabildo itself is fantastic, and Tom provided a fun, interesting, local-for-generations point of view on this great walking tour. Best morning we spent in New Orleans! We'll do it again on our next visit!
