This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well.

We use the VOX Whisper System. Staff is responsible for cleaning each machine. The ear and mic buds are disposable. Units will only be used once per week to allow for rotating a clean unit to guests & guides. Guests can remove mask outside during the tour, inside state law requires a mask.

I really enjoyed this tour! Lots of great information, well-paced and engaging throughout. The museum is closed on a Monday so we were unable to take advantage of the free entry with tour reservation purchase, so keep that in mind if you'd like to do both!

A really excellent walking tour of the French quarter! The guide was lovely and knowledgeable, taking all of our questions, showing us all the different influences in the buildings and the history in the area. I really recommend it, even if it's raining!
