This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well.

We use the VOX Whisper System. Staff is responsible for cleaning each machine. The ear and mic buds are disposable. Units will only be used once per week to allow for rotating a clean unit to guests & guides. Guests can remove mask outside during the tour, inside state law requires a mask.

We did a walk with Ginger and really enjoyed the tour. The group was small and we covered quite a bit during the tour. It was good paced and very informative.

Great walking tour of the French Quarter. Tom Whelen was our guide and we were lucky to have him. He was very knowledgeable and was great about keeping us out of the sun and heat as much as possible. You'll learn so much about the area and it's past which explains why things are the way they are. I highly recommend this for all.

We were lucky enough to have Tom Whelen as our tour guide for the Walking French Quarters tour. He was so knowledgeable and spent time answering our questions. We were visiting our son and he suggested the tour. We toured for over 2 hours and time flew by. A must for any visitor to NOLA. Coming back with family and it will be first on our to do list
