I learned so much about New Orleans from Tom Whelen. He is a phenomenal guide! So knowledgeable, easy to understand, stories were interesting and connected. You got a feel for the whole time period. Jackson Square was covered and then we walked down river staying in the Quarter. I wonder if he conducts up river Quarter tours? Would love to walk again with him. Thanks, Tom, for a lovely afternoon!

On 17th April we took part in the walking tour through the French Quarter. We had booked in advance and found everything reliably organised. Due to our very committed and knowledgeable tour guide, Mrs Ginger L., we know a lot more now about the history of NOLA, its architecture and its people. All the information was based on thorough research, and we also enjoyed that it was mostly linked to the people who made history and formed this fascinating city. Therefore we highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Ginger, and Friends of the Cabildo.

A fabulous, factual, and fun tour. Simone, our guide, was FABULOUS! Friendly, spoke loudly in a loud environment, kept a good pace, and covered many interesting details. Simone was among the very best tour guides I have ever experienced on such a tour. Tour was just the right length both in time and distance. And, we knew that what we learned was based on her study and was accurate. Great job, Simone, and Friends of the Cabildo!
