Took the tour on Monday the 10th of December with guide Craig Ernst and bonus guide Keith Amacker. Both men have a wealth of knowledge of the Quarter and a clear love for the city and its people. Our very small group (4 attendees) had the two guides all to ourselves for almost three hours and were free to ask unlimited questions and alter the track as needed. This tour will suit the history buff well and I would recommend it to an adult audience who wants to know the background of this charming city. Be advised, this is not a celebrity/food/party/pop-culture tour.

My husband and I took a tour with Linda Deane and really enjoyed it. I loved learning the history of the buildings and why things were designed the way they were. New Orleans has a fascinating history and Linda was great at explaining it all in a way that it came to life. You don't cover a TON of ground so it's a super easy walk. Highly recommend!

We only had a very short time in New Orleans, and we opted for this two hour guided tour to give us an informed insight into the history of the French Quarter before we wandered about on our own. We were very pleased to have chosen this. Our Guide Simone was well informed and was able to answer practically all the varied questions put to her by the people on the tour. She was obviously passionate about her subject, being descended from some of the early settlers in the area. Would thoroughly recommend this tour, which had the bonus of entry to the 1850 House Museum.
