Explore the natural wonders of Molokini Crater, a volcanic islet 3 miles (4.8 km) off the coast of Maui, on this snorkeling tour from Maalaea. Surrounded by clear tropical waters, this extinct cone is home to many species of marine life, such as fish, sea urchins, sharks, manta rays, and coral. Molokini is a marine preserve, meaning nothing can be disturbed, keeping the island and underwater environment pristine. You'll also explore Turtle Town, and admire native birds. Two water slides, a glass bottom viewing room, and a "leap of faith" are also available if you don't want to snorkel or finish early. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, soda, and juice are included.

We have our captain and crew arrived 30-minutes earlier than usual to spray sanitation and disinfectant on the vessel, and wipe down high traffic areas before guests arrive. Masks & Sanitation are available on boat for guests also.

We went to Molokini Crater but the day had lots of swells in the water so several of us were not as comfortable in the water as we could have been. We later stopped at Turtle Town which was where the water was perfect. The staff were very cordial and helpful and me all our expectations. I very much like to be part of a larger group than a very small one (My very first experience) we had a good time. Lunch was good for this sort of thing. Would recomend to anyone last time we went snorkeling we even took the grand kids who were little they loved it also.

The snorkeling was excellent - saw beautiful fish and several sea turtles saw a wonderful pod of humpback whales swimming which was very exciting to watch the ship was good size with lots of room with plenty of restrooms and decks to get in the water for snorkeling the breakfast and lunch they served was excellent and ample the crew was outstanding-very knowledgable, helpful, personable, and friendly.
Highly recommend this trip!

Due to poor weather we were unable to anchor at Molokini for snorkling. The alternative site was devoid of fish and other sea creatures. This, of course, was not the fault of Calypso. The craft and crew were excellent.
