Recently we took Garl's full day tour of the Everglades, which involved hiking and kayaking on Nine Mile Pond. Garl showed us a nest of two young red shoulder hawks, many impressive snakes (his specialty), alligators, and more alligators, beautiful roseate spoonbills, woodpeckers, and tree frogs. Garl obviously loves what he does and as a result you have a lot of fun. We just received the CD and the photos are stunning. And many photos are funny as Garl documented our group throughout the day. If you are looking for a unique way to see the Everglades then this tour is for you!

My scuba trip was postponed due to weather so I was looking for something else to do and was referred to Garl. It was an amazing trip. We did the whole-day Everglades tour. The day was split between kayaking and walking. We saw a ton of 'gators, many at arms length distance, birds, snakes, flowers and beautiful vistas. The group was 6 people total, which was perfect and Garl was a wealth of information. He took us off-trail to spots he's discovered and ended the day with a night walk on Aniga trail. Can't wait to do another trip!

I recently went on a full day tour of the Everglades with Garl and had a wonderful time. He took us into some really neat spots to see areas of the park that I definitely would never have gotten to on my own. As a field biologist, many tours of this sort are not really interesting enough to keep my attention, but Garl really knows what he's doing. Having a guide as experienced as Garl made the trip both fun (we saw lots of animals!) and relaxing. I would highly recommend this trip no matter what your skill level, provided that you want to get out and enjoy the beautiful nature of the Everglades!
