We ran into some rough weather during our time on Oahu but the staff here handled things perfectly. An early week cancellation due to rough surf was a good call by Twogood. We elected to brave the elements near the end of our trip and our guide, Brooke, rewarded us with a great trip under far less than ideal weather conditions. She was professional and personable when many others would have mailed it in. The true test of a company is how they handle themselves when things aren't easy. They passed with flying colors.

The Mokoluas are twin islands 1/2 mile off shore of Lanikai beach. The islands are a bird sanctuary for nesting seabirds. Hawaiian monk seals return to swim and molt on the beach. Moku Nui, the left island has a beach and kayaks and standup paddle boards can land. The perimeter of the island is accessible. Hiking around the left side goes by a long volcano tube that runs under the island. You can hear the water surge rush in and then come rushing back to the ocean. When there is little to no surf it is safe to continue on to the backside of the island to "Shark's Cove". This is a swimming and rock jumping area. This is only safe with little to no waves/surge. Hiking around the right of the island takes you to tidal pools and the "Queen's Bath". Both of these hikes are best done with reef walker shoes. Sharp lava rock!!! Twogood Kayaks are both friendly and knowledgeable about the bay and islands. They can hook you up!!!
