This above-ground cemetery has been prominently featured in TV and Film for decades. Your guide will conclude the tour with an informative and fascinating exploration of the introduction, tradition, and functionality of above ground crypts and the intimate connection New Orleanian families can preserve and nurture across generations, decades, and centuries.

I completely enjoyed this walking tour. Steve was our 'narrator' and was very well prepared. Steve gave a great overview of the tour before we started reviewing 'safety' guidelines - look up look down. No question was too simple for him to answer. He was patient in waiting for stragglers to catch up, the pace of the walk was very manageable for all participants. I also enjoyed the size of this tour. There were about 10 of us, and it was a great size. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about the Garden District as well as the Lafayette Cemetery.

This was terrible. Apparently my experience would have been different if we had Tara, but we had some soft spoken gentleman who couldn't keep our interest. I'm really not that hard to please but this was so boring that we bailed halfway through and went to the WWII museum.
