With this general admission ticket you can come face-to-face with technology in Connectus, create your own invention in the Idea Zone, and examine actual fossils under a microscope. Don’t miss exploring Mission: Moonbase, where you can learn to navigate a moon rover and complete other missions in a gamer style, hands-on experience that leads to colonizing the Moon. There is all of this and more at MOSI!

With an additional, fee payable at the door, you can gaze into a starry night sky in the Saunders Planetarium, visit space in the Virtual Reality Simulator or conquer your fears on the Sky Trail Ropes Course.

I took my daughters and a couple of their friends to MOSI the other day. One on the friends is a Special Needs boy age 20. He wanted to try the Ropes Course. He and his caregiver got off to a good start but as the course got a bit more difficult he hesitated. That was when one of the MOSI folks, ViVi, stepped in to help. She was so friendly and helpful. She guided him through the whole course giving him encouragement every step of the way. He was so happy and proud of being able to complete something he had never done before. Many thanks to ViVi for her patience and great personality! She is a great asset to your organization!

A real hidden GEM in Tampa ,and half the cost of other places to go ., fun for the whole family to enjoy, and be sure to check out their gift shop also, some are a one of a kind found only in their shop..

We have an annual pass for the family for the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. During the month of September, the pass allows you free visits to both MOSI and Lowery Park Zoo. This is the best thing about the inexpensive pass! It also works the other way around, but we are more likely to visit the aquarium multiple times during the year than either of the other two places. My suggestion to someone wanting to take advantage of annual passes would be to pick the one you will use the most and visit the other two during the month of September. The passes also give you discount to several other places year round.
