Germaine's Luau

Overview
The highlight of the show is the Samoan Fire-knife dance, known as the "Tooth of Death". In the original interpretation, this dance was performed with a dangerously sharp blade.

The story behind the dance is of a Samoan chief making a movie for Hollywood many years ago. He decided to include the flaming torch in his part to make the dance more spectacular.

The show also includes the energetic Samoan Slap Dance, a traditional display of male prowess. True to the name, the dancers slap their chests, arms and legs repeatedly throughout this segment. For Samoan men, this was an opportunity to demonstrate their bravery and courage.

Staff was rude. Waiting in line for 30 min- only to be told we donā€™t belong in that line - no reason given just pushed to another line and waited additional 30 minutes for a drink. She was so rude and unprofessional- ruined the initial experience- we missed seeing the pork because of this.

The picnic table seating was awful the benches were attached very difficult to get in and out of and to tall not comfortable we were a party of 5 and everyone complained about the uncomfortable seating. Food was typical luau fare nothing special show was good not fantastic as a whole it was definitely not worth the money. Bus ride was boring only a driver no one to get the people excited to be going then after paying $175 the driver asked for tips. Yes he got us there safely but it was nothing special I am all for tips but they shouldnā€™t ask like it was expected. Crowded space with all the large picnic style tables.
