Germaine's Luau

Overview
The highlight of the show is the Samoan Fire-knife dance, known as the "Tooth of Death". In the original interpretation, this dance was performed with a dangerously sharp blade.

The story behind the dance is of a Samoan chief making a movie for Hollywood many years ago. He decided to include the flaming torch in his part to make the dance more spectacular.

The show also includes the energetic Samoan Slap Dance, a traditional display of male prowess. True to the name, the dancers slap their chests, arms and legs repeatedly throughout this segment. For Samoan men, this was an opportunity to demonstrate their bravery and courage.

I paid $170 dollars to wait in line for everything from obtaining my tickets for the Luau, then to get a drink. After searching for a bit, I was able to secure a spot at the rear of the show. I went by myself which is a mistake, you need someone to obtain either a drink or a table spot. Show was entertaining and staff were kind enough to let me get food sooner after I explained I was diabetic.

We have a good time, good show! Maybe more vegetables options for the buffet instead of just lettuce?

Aloha Maria, Thank you for your feedback. We are so happy you enjoyed the show! As far as the lettuce, that's considered our starter which is our delicious salad. We hope to see you again in the future! Mahalo, Germaines Luau

The worse and most expensive buffet in my life. Almost nothing of hawaiian local food. Little variety. About the show, nothing special.
