Small infants under walking age can sit on an adults lap and fly free
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Weight limit is 290 lbs per seat (and a combined max of 600 lbs for 3 passengers).

What To Expect

Alpine Air Alaska

Your tour starts at our hangar at the Girdwood airport where you will receive a short safety briefing and board the helicopter for your flight to see spectacular glaciers and mountains. We ask all guests to arrive 15 minutes before your tour departure time.

Chugach National Forest

Fly over the glaciers and mountains of Alaska's Chugach range.

Girdwood

We are located in the scenic ski resort town of Girdwood, located about 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska. While in Girdwood, check out the great hiking trails and visit the Resort Alyeska after your flight with us!

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

This was worth every penny! Invest in memories and experience something that you will remember for a lifetime! So incredible that I have write a review! We have been around the world and have experienced a lot and this for sure hits the top of my list. Amazing pilots, staff and the experience was perfect from booking till we were dropped off! We felt safe the entire time. Not a bad seat in helicopter! Pictures don’t do the beauty justice. Just WOW!! Book it and I promise you will not regret it. Thank you Alpine Air staff for giving me one of the best memories with my parents and husband!!!!

What an amazing helicopter ride, dramatic viewing of glaciers and surrounding mountains and a really special young pilot named Casey. Top ten life experience, highly recommend. Landed on the Glacier and drank the deep blue purest water with our bare hands. Wonderful staff welcomes you. Don’t miss this!

This portion of our trip put a smile so big on my wifes face, that you would think see was a bear in a blueberry patch. The helicopter trip from the valley to the glacier is so amazing with scenes so vivid that only your eyes can paint the picture that you see. And the ride on the dog sled in Alaska is a personal bucket list item that I will remember for years to come.
