What To Expect

Alpine Air Alaska

Your tour starts at our hangar at the Girdwood airport where you will receive a short safety briefing and board the helicopter for your flight to see spectacular glaciers and mountains. We ask all guests to arrive 15 minutes before your tour departure time.

Chugach National Forest

Fly over the glaciers and mountains of Alaska's Chugach range.

We are located in the scenic ski resort town of Girdwood, located about 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska. While in Girdwood, check out the great hiking trails and visit the Resort Alyeska after your flight with us!

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

So we hiked on a glacier, took a boat to a glacier but landing on a glacier was by far the best experience iof our trip to Alaska. Our pilot (sorry forgot her name) was an ace at spotting wildlife and circled back to see several moose's, bears and a bald eagle. She was an expert pilot and had many stories about the area that really completed the trip.

They flew us to Spencer Glacier as part of our Chugach Adventures tour. The flight was amazing and the pilot was GREAT! She saw a bear on the mountain side and swung back around so we could see it. She also flew us over the glacier before landing. I highly recommend!

Wow, just wow. Our group included 5, so we chartered two helicopters. Our pilot was Zach, and he was especially friendly, professional, and genuine. The experience is AWESOME. Truly once in a lifetime. The scenery is spectacular... couldn't put down our cameras. Though the time on the glacier was quick, it was breathtaking. On the flight out, we spotted moose and mountain goats. We had perfect conditions, so we lucked out with the weather. It's pricey but absolutely worth it. And a shout out to Carmen and the office staff, they were so friendly! Thanks again for making our vacation incredible!
