Josh and Emily Jo were outstanding. Their personal service and care made for a wonderful day. They went out of their way to find out exactly what we wanted and then delivered it. We could not have asked for a better tour.

i did the Lamar Valley hike with Josh and Emily Jo and enjoyed it so much that I came back and did the Specimen Creek hike with them the following day! They are great guides and great people! With their energy and enthusiasm they filled the hikes with interesting facts and fun stories about Yellowstone and its many animals and unique features, all the while spotting wildlife for us (much of which we could have easily missed but for their experience and skill). And not only were they very knowledgeable about the Yellowstone area but about international travel and adventure as well. I am looking forward to hiking with them again the next time I'm in the area!

We booked this hike with Yellowstone Hiking Guides, (Josh and Emily), and we so pleased I can't say enough about the trip. They are the nicest folks you ever want to hang with and their combined knowledge of the area impressed us all. We took the short day hike to the Lone Start Geyser and it was the coolest thing ever. Josh said we should wait for the next eruption and that it would be well worth it. He was right! This geyser erupted with a stream of water about 30 to 40 feet high for over 20 full minutes!!! Compared to Old Faithful, which lasts about three minutes, this was spectacular! They provided a great lunch and interesting conversation throughout the whole trip. they also provided all gear required for the hike, we showed up with our shoes on and a bottle of water for each off us, that's it, they handled everything. I can't say enough about how great a time we had! Will definitely call them again the next time we are in the area.
