It's rare to ride a train in USA. This train trip to Grand Canyon was a nice one. It's a round trip from Williams, AZ to Grand Canyon. It took about 2 hours one way, and whole day for the whole trip. There was an attendant in every train. In the Pullman train, John told lots of stories about animals in Grand Canyon. It was very interesting. Before riding on the train and also when came back from Grand Canyon, there were some funny shows about wide west. It was entertaining. Only complaint about the train is the speed of the train is too, too slow. In other country with fast speed train, it probably only takes 15 to 30 min! This one took about 2 hours! In this aspect, US is far behind other country. I realize this train is for entertainment, not for speed.

Our time on the railroad going to the Grand Canyon and coming back was absolutely wonderful. Our train car host, Jeff, was professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. The staff entertained the guests with music and sing alongs. We purchased the grand bus tour that included lunch, and everything was great.

This trip was spectacular. The staff on-board was polite, friendly and were very good at their jobs. Passenger comfort was their priority. We took the optional bus tour at the canyon. The view points they took us to were incredibly beautiful. This trip was well worth the cost. The viewpoints were handicapped asscessible.
