We took The Train after visiting the Grand Canyon two consecutive days prior to get the lay of the land. We had a fantastic time. The Luxury Dome was a great experience because breakfast and after-lunch snacks were provided. We took a day trip, going to and returning from the Canyon on the same day by train. This leaves you with "only" 3.5 hours at the Canyon, which goes by fast! So make sure you have a plan to spend your 3.5 hours free time wisely. If you don't have a plan, listen to the extremely helpful instruction provided by the staff. They are there to answer your questions and make sure you get on the return train on time. The photographers on staff took some of my favorite photos of our group of 4 and it was an easy decision to buy these photos. We missed the morning Wild West show because we underestimated the driving time. There was construction so be sure to plan your directions and alternate directions in advance. We made the train on time and enjoyed the bandits boarding the train on the return trip. I can't speak highly enough about the staff. They are there to make sure your experience is perfect. They are awesome! The Train was a great way to sit back, relax, take in the majestic sights, and enjoy the Grand Canyon.

My wife and I bought first class tickets for the ride to and from the canyon. It was a great trip with no waiting in line to enter the park. We then took the bus tour with our package. It was great also. Everyone involved with the railway was super.

Was one of the best choices we made while in Williams took the train to the Grand Canyon a wonderful leisurely train ride with John being the best narrator! Had so much fun with him and the “bank robbers” would absolutely do this again!
