We took the railway to the Grand Canyon and it was really fun. The train is very comfortable and the views are nice. They have free refreshments as well as adult drinks for a cost. The cowboy in your car is your host. Ours was Cameron. He was very funny and nice. He also makes a pretty good cocktail. Someone came through our car playing guitar and singing. The whole environment was fun and a great prelude to arriving at the Grand Canyon. We stayed two nights and returned back on the train. On our trip back there are more high jinks and fun with the cowboys. All in all a great time and family friendly.

We rode the train on May 23, 2019. It was an excellent experience. Our train attendant Mercedes was top-notch: she was very enthusiastic, highly knowledgeable, very energetic and simply the best! We encountered snow that day, and she was so hospitable to us, getting us back on the train after our lunch break, quickly. The musicians were so entertaining, and so talented. We enjoyed the scenery, the wonderful stories, the colorful entertainers, and most of all Mercedes. It was a great way to travel up to the Grand Canyon, it was like going back in time, to another era of travel. Very enjoyable, definitely recommend!

Just simply amazing. Before we got on the train we had ample opportunity to browse the gift shop and take pictures of the trains and other things in the area. The train cars are really cool. We got tickets on one of the upgraded cars so it wasnt very crowded. A staffed mini bar with complimentary coffee and ice water really made the trip up and back much more enjoyable. Being able to sit back and relax during the ride up and back was worth every penny. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. We had plenty of time once we arrived at the Grand Canyon to look around, shop, and take pictures before we had to get on the train to go back. 10/10 would do this again. This is the best way to go, hands down. A perfect fit for your Grand Canyon adventure!
