Canyon Dave gave us our tour and we had a wonderful time. He has lived, hiked and studied the Grand Canyon for many years and his knowledge has depth and breadth. As a geology professor, he explained the geology of the canyon in a most interesting manner. He had rock samples for us to examine as he instructed us on the formation of the canyon. We visited several areas of this massive place as he told stories of the flora and fauna. For lunch, we went to a Navajo Reservation for authentic food which was delicious. There is also a store, museum and studio of wonderful art. Dave is an excellent guide and we highly recommend his tours.

From the time Dave picked us up from our hotel in the Grand Canyon we were given the best tour I have ever been on . Dave's knowledge of the canyon can not be beaten . He is a geologist and has studied the canyon all his life. He is very passionate about the Canyon and is thoroughly recommended. There were 11 of us on his tour and we all could not ask for a better tour guide.

This tour was exceptional! Dora provided a great welcome, factual and accurate explanations of the local history, geology and folklore about the Canyon and the peoples who live nearby.Geology 101 with colourful handouts and rock samples Looking out over breathtaking panoramas could not have been better explained. The lunch trip to the Navajo Reservation was another fascinating part of the day, that included the lesser known Little Colorado Canyon. Highly recommended.
