Only a two hour drive from Las Vegas, Laughlin and Lake Havasu, the West Rim provides guests with an opportunity to experience the awe-inspiring canyon from many different perspectives. Walk the glass panels on the Skywalk and take in the epic views at Guano Point and Eagle Point plus an array of other activities. Please Note: This is an admission ticket only and transportation from surrounding cities is not included.

What To Expect

Grand Canyon West

Make your pwn way to the West Rim where guests are provided an opportunity to experience the awe-inspiring canyon from many different perspectives. Please Note: Last ticket is sold at 4:45 p.m. from March to November and varies as days get longer or shorter going into and out of the summer. Please be aware that Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time. Thus, during the winter months, Grand Canyon West is on Mountain Standard Time and is a full hour ahead of California and Nevada, which are on Pacific Standard Time. When DST is being observed, beginning in March, the time at Grand Canyon West is the same as the time in Las Vegas and California.

Grand Canyon Skywalk

This 10-foot wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extends 70 feet out over the rim of the Grand Canyon. Look down and you can see right through the glass platform 4,000 feet to the floor of the Canyon below. This engineering marvel offers unparalleled views of one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders. Nervous about walking on glass almost a mile above the floor of the Grand Canyon? Have no fear—the Skywalk is strong enough to hold seventy fully loaded 747 passenger jets. After walking the Sky visit the Skywalk Gift Shop and pick up souvenirs to remember your walk and the grandeur of the Canyon.

The Grand Canyon itself is beautiful - unfortunately the experience felt like a complete rip-off. $65 each for a ticket for entry, inc Skywalk. Had to leave the car and go on a shuttle bus to three destinations over about 3 hours. Queued for the bus for at least 15 minutes each time. Skywalk had long queues to walk on, and you have to leave your camera/phone in a locker - if you want a picture, you have to pay for photos taken by photographers there. Skywalk restaurant food was worst we’ve had in the US so far (had the veggie burger and chicken salad). Also provided in plastic bag w plastic cutlery - huge amount of plastic waste. Guano Point had beautiful views. Queued for about 25 minutes in 40 degree heat for the shuttle bus back - nowhere near enough buses during the midday sun and lots of people suffering in the heat. Third destination was scrapped due to the heat and people telling the driver to go back to the main point. Taking advantage of people wanting to see one of the natural wonders of the world.

The crew here was super friendly!!! It was definitely a great experience and I would recommend you going if you think about it! Bring some comfortable hiking shoes. The staff was amazing and you felt very comfortable. All had an amazing sense of humor.
