It was a great experience! Breath taking beauty at the Canyon. The staff we encountered were nice. We were very grateful that we had purchased our tickets in advance - the ticket lines were long the day we were there. The Sky Walk is a unique experience.

Ok, this 3-star review is for the structure of the GCW, most specifically the Skywalk, and not for the Canyon itself because it is BEAUTIFUL! Different from the National Park, the GCW doesnā€™t offer a bunch of hiking options. You go and see the Eagle Point, then go to Skywalk, and then to the Guano Point, and thatā€™s it. The line for the skywalk was huge. However, when youā€™re inside, if you didnā€™t buy the picture package, you can go straight to the bridge. That means that you stay in a huge line for nothing while a bunch of people is waiting to have a photographer with them. The bridge itself is cool, but the glass is all messed up already. You canā€™t take your phone or any camera with you, so if you have to pay if you want pictures taken there. Are the pictures worthy? Honestly, no. Most photos are taken with a terrible angle, and they keep the flash on all the time, so the flash reflects on the glass and makes your picture look ugly. The Skywalk restaurant is okay. You can get a great view of the Canyon there. It took us 30 minutes to get our check, but it was okay. The Guano Point has spectacular views of the Canyon and the Colorado River. You can go to the top of a bit of mountain, but there are no signed trailed to there. I gave up half-away because we were on the edge of the Canyon, thinking that we were on a trail, but we were not sure at all if that was a trail or not. This place is cool if you have an extra day in Vegas and wanna check the Canyon; otherwise, I would recommend going to the National Park because there are not that many activities and hiking trails to do.

I would avoid the SkyWalk. Itā€™s cool but not worth the wait. You are berated for trying to use the ā€œdisinfected lockers that take hours to cleanā€. That conversation was weird. You canā€™t take photos because there are photographers stationed on the walk to do this. They can be rude as if you are in THEIR way while they have blocked traffic to take pictures of their assigned party. I eventually just stood frozen in their way when I heard them complain about me. They moved on. Guano point is much freer with more spectacular views. I saw people so annoyed they just skipped that spot and stayed on the bus. Unorganized and weird experience. Guano was the highlight.
