If you only have 1 day, or a week, take this tour on the first day. It's a great introduction to LA and a way to see the 'lay of the land'. First perk was the pickup and drop-off at our hotel. I really liked that we didn't have to find the pick-up spot in an unfamiliar city. For my husband's first trip to LA, I wanted him to see the highlights since we were short on time. Our guide Bing, was so knowledgeable, informative, and funny! She made this shared tour seem like a private one. We saw so many places and spent time at each one. I've taken city tours in other states (that wasted a lot of time waiting on the next bus) and Guideline Tours has been the absolute best! Tip: Always book directly with the company. Incase anything arises, it's easier to deal direct then with the 3rd party who took your money and won't answer the phone. I've learned from experience!

I see you have taken a lot tours city tours in other states that (wasted a lot time waiting waiting on the next bus) Thank you so much for mentioning this. This is exactly what we strive for. Next year 2023, we will celebrate our 35th year. In the early years we used bigger busses and picked up all over the largest metro area in the country. In more recent years we changed our tours to smaller minibuses that allow us to get to know our valued guests. This allows for the most personalized experience and everyone know that travel can be a bit difficult, especially in a new big city with so much to do. Over the years we have learned that small groups offer the best experience. This not only allows our guides to easily communicate, but we love to offer that private feeling even if it is with a couple of other groups. This also allows for great 2 way communication. The great thing about it is we go home feeling good that our guests not only had the Hollywood fun but also learned about this very large historic great city we call home. I am so glad that you rated Bing's tour to be the "absolute best" ! She thanks you and hopes to see you the next time you visit Los Angeles!
