We did this tour at 9am to avoid the hottest part of the day and we absolutely loved it. It was one of our favourite parts of our New York trip. Lyall was our guide, he was very knowledgeable and gave us just the right amount of information to make it interesting for the adults and teenagers. The tour takes around 2 hours and is easy cycling with a couple of small inclines but nothing too taxing. Highly recommended!

The only reason this got 2 stars is because we got done 30 minutes early. Our guide was so slow that we struggled to keep the bikes upright as we drove them. There was a point we went ahead of the guide because we couldn’t handle it and he STILL went about walking speed. The park itself was kind of nice (save for the smell, but what can you do?). The tour was something we could have done for significantly cheaper on our own. Just read the plaques around the park and you get the same information.

Hello, We're that the experience you had was less than ideal. This is actually the first complaint we've seen about a tour being too slow, on what date did you attend the tour? Please email us at [email protected] so we can learn more about what happened.

We took the 4 p.m. tour with Filip. There was one other couple so we were a group of 5. Being that the Park was busy, it was helpful our group was small. I'm a mid 60's woman who works out regularly, cardio, weights, Pilates. However, I haven't been on a bicycle in years. I had no trouble. Be sure that your bike fits you and the seat is at a proper height. We had been up early, doing many touristy things in NYC so for us the 4 p.m. trip was good -- not too demanding. Filip, our tour guide, did his job well. He answered our questions.
