Guided Bike Tour of Central Park New York City

Overview
Explore Central Park with a 2-hour guided bike tour. All of our Central Park tour guides are licensed professionals.  All of our bikes are Trek or Giant brand bikes new to this model year with no tacky advertisements on them.  Your bike package is included with your tour purchase.  Some of the sites seen on this tour are Columbus Circle, The Central Park Mall, The Bethesda Fountain, The Conservatory Water, The Reservoir, The Conservatory Garden, The Great Lawn, The Belvedere Castle, Strawberry Fields, the Alice in Wonderland Statue, and Cherry Hill.  We provided one live tour guide per every 15 people in order to keep the tour groups small.

Adult bikes, child bikes, child trailers, child seats, and accessible hand cycles are all available.

Bike baskets are available.

Customer can reschedule for any reason at no additional cost.

Communication up front was poor. We checked in early & were told to wait, but no one approached us about our tour beginning. No one told us where to find helmets. We had to figure everything out on our own. The tour itself was pretty good, but we did a similar tour through Trip Advisor with another company a couple of years ago and the tour was better through them. I did like my bike, although it got a flat towards the end of the tour.

If you are interested in where celebrities used to live and where scenes from movies were shot, around Central Park, this is the tour for you. It was as though out 'guide' was killing time to make this 'tour' the two hours advertised. The ride is only 6 miles long so this could easily be a one hour tour, given how little our guide had to share.

As a fan of Central Park, I enjoyed the guided tour and would have liked to have a longer, more thorough experience. Our guide touched on a few highlights at each of the stops along the ride and covered some interesting information regarding the park. Next time, I will consider renting a bike and using an app or audio guide.
