Tour was canceled 12 hours before it was supposed to start. Getting run around about getting my money back and keep getting asked how my trip was and if I want to give a gratuity.

I was very excited about my experience, but it was so last minute and they were not able to reschedule me for the next day. I’m currently working on getting a refund.

Hey Joann! We were bummed to not be able to get you on a tour. Like we said when we reached out, the river is currently flooded due to all the rain we’ve gotten recently, and as a result all the boat landings are closed! Even many days after your tour was scheduled, the landings are still closed unfortunately. According to our records your refund should have been processed yesterday. Sometimes third party companies take longer to process those refunds- since they are the ones who took your payment info, we are not able to do refunds on our end! So sorry for the frustration, I know it’s not how you want to spend your vacation. Hopefully next time you’re in town the weather and nature will cooperate with us and we can get you on a tour!

Our sunrise kayak tour with Casper and Dean was great! They were wonderful at accomodating the entire group of eight, which was mixed with both kayaks and stand-up paddleboards of varied abilities. We got a great history of the river and were able to observe a variety of wildlife including two alligators while on our tour! The river was extremely peaceful and I would recommend the tour as a great way to start any day.
