What To Expect

The Gypsy Gold Farm

our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Dennis and Erin will then introduce you to a Gypsy Vanner stallion and explain the envisioned look and details unique to the Vanner breed. Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

I highly recommend taking a tour of Gypsy Gold Horse Farm. Dennis and his wife Erin are very friendly and give an excellent history of the breed and tour of the farm. The grounds are beautiful, the horses both unique and friendly, and the background information on the breed is fascinating.

Such a great day trip for our horse loving family. The owners are genuine and friendly..the horses are stunning and very friendly!!..We learned a ton about the history of this beautiful breed. They have something for everyone..donkeys, mules, and lively parrots!! We will be back to spoil your horses with too many carrots!!!..Thank you for the great tour and opening up your beautiful farm for us to see how special these horses are!..Until next time!!!..The Johnson family...

What a great experience. My wife and I have a Gypsy/appaloosa horse and wanted to learn more about the breed. That we did and so much more. What an incredible wealth of information. We felt very welcome almost part of the family. Such beautiful grounds and animals. I would highly recommend a visit and we very much look forward to things to come!
