What To Expect

The Gypsy Gold Farm

our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Dennis and Erin will then introduce you to a Gypsy Vanner stallion and explain the envisioned look and details unique to the Vanner breed. Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

We toured the Gypsy Gold horse farm yesterday. I knew it’d be great but it was fantastic! Dennis is so funny, we were laughing all of the time. And tears too because I could feel his passion. The horses are beautiful and friendly. The mules are nice too and we learned a lot about them. I couldn’t give this place a higher recommendation.

Very informative and user friendly. You are free to roam the grounds. Take pictures etc, Would recommend for older children with good attention span.

My daughter & I took my wife on this tour. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. It started with a very informative & interesting talk. Not at all boring. Dennis put a lot of humor into the tour & made everyone feel very comfortable. The horses were beautiful. I would most definitely recommend this tour, it is suitable for all ages.
