Haleakala is known for rapidly changing weather conditions and dense clouds and rain are common. As a result, clear viewing of the sunrise is not guaranteed, and the tour operates rain or shine. Refunds will be granted only when the tour is cancelled for safety reasons.
The high altitude at the summit area may complicate health conditions and breathing difficulties. Elderly visitors, pregnant women, young children, and those with respiratory or heart conditions should consult their doctor prior to touring. Walk slowly and drink water to avoid dehydration. If you have gone scuba diving, you should wait at least 24 hours before going on this tour.

We loved Michael and his excellent history and discussion about Maui and the absolutely beautiful crater of Haleakala. He made it really fun and our family will not forget how beautiful Gods creation really is. Bring something to break the chill and wind and bring some snacks as Covid has stopped the dinner portion of this tour. Maybe some Dramamine if your prone to motion sickness but our family of 6 did totally fine.

Amazing trip! Our tour guide, Michael, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Even though it seemed cloudy it ended up still being a beautiful view of the sunset. The drive up the mountain can be tough with motion sickness
