Haleakala Unguided

Overview

This tour is for those who want to bike down by themselves at their own pace. The bike route is exactly the same as our Cycle to the Sea tour. It runs from 8 am to about 11:30 am. We take you up to an elevation of 6700' above sea level, give you instructions, then equip you with awesome Trek Hybrids and BIKING helmets...not full face motorcycle helmets. We leapfrog ahead you every 7 miles and wait for you, in case you want something to eat or drink, bike adjustment, or to take some pictures.We do this all the way down, so we are always close by. We are the only company that offers this service.

Maui

An amazing 25 mile downhill bike ride using our top of the line 2020 Trek hybrids with actual biking helmets...NOT full face motorcycle helmets that all the other companies make you wear.

My 16 year old son and I had an awesome time biking down the mountain! Matt really made us feel at ease and he's very knowledgable and fun to talk to...made us feel like we were his friends. His bikes were in great shape and comfortable to ride. Wanted so badly to go back up and do it again.

So much fun. We did the unguided tour, which allowed us to ride down the mountain pretty much as fast as well wanted, and the other group was free to go at their own pace as well. This is absolutely the bike tour you should do on Maui as long as you have some amount of confidence riding a bike and going downhill.

Matt is an absolutely brilliant guide! The entire experience door to door exceeded expectations. My daughter and I had the roads to ourselves for the majority of the ride and the bikes were fantastic. We found Maui Bombers through word of mouth and have to say definitely the most enjoyable. Matt knew great places to stop, took us to a fantastic donut shop and bakes a mean banana-mango muffin! If you appreciate riding without a group of novice cyclists, this is for you.
