Our family of 4 had a great time on the lower Animas River for a half day trip. We started at 9am with Mike as our tour guide. Mike was a great tour guide and told us jokes, gave us information about the area, and most importantly made us feel comfortable. We will definitely do this again when we return.

We had planned to do this on a Tuesday but with the train not running, we were able to move it up a day. The check-in process was great and all of the team members were really easy to work with. Our guide was Bobby (i believe). He was fantastic in guiding us through rough areas. My wife was awful nervous about falling out, and we had a young child on the raft. Bobby made everyone feel at ease and safe. The half day trip is a little slow in spots so I might recommend the faster trip, especially if it runs the same route.

Went on the lower animas ride last weekend, had a blast!! The water seemed low but our raft guide Elena made it worth while. She was an awesome guide and very informational about Durango! We will defiantly be back!!
