Half-Day Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Private Tour

Overview
We begin this wildlife photo tour by heading north along the western boundary of the National Elk Refuge to Grand Teton National Park. Here we will travel along the southern park roads watching for wildlife and stopping frequently for photo-ops. Wildlife we frequently encounter on this trip includes bison, elk, deer, moose, pronghorn, (aka antelope), fox, coyote, bear, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might choose to stop at the Jackson Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

Could not be more impressed with the wonderful day we had with Grant Bell as our guide on the Half Day Grand Teton Wildlife Safari. He picked us (Photography Workshop organized by Bentwood Inn and Andy Coleman) up at 7 a.m from the Bentwood Inn and took us to places only locals knew were open to the public. Besides finding excellent places to take pictures, I could have listened to his stories and history of the area for a few more days. He spent a lot of time with us, with a shared love of photography, and was quite the gentleman in helping me in/out of the sage when I had difficulties doing it on my own. Our day with Grant of Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris was one of the best days of my trip. Technical notes: he was on time, professional, had water and muffins, and binoculars for all. Wish I was better at writing reviews...

We had a great tour guide and ended up seeing bear, elk, deer, moose and a herd of bison. Jeff, was knowledgeable of not only the animals, but the ecosystem and history. Great job.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Brandon. He was very personable and had an encyclopedic knowledge of the geology and wildlife of Jackson Hole. So glad we did this tour early in our trip.... it really made us appreciate what we were experiencing the rest of our stay.
