John is a fantastic guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and his photography skills are outstanding. His preparation is impeccable and you will enjoy great snacks and an amazing South Kaibab Chicken Burrito, made to order. Thanks so much John!

The best way to see the Grand Canyon! Jon was great - as everyone has said, he ensures you are well prepared with anything you (or others on the trail)may need. We are a family of 4 with 4 very different dietary needs and he accommodated each of us - and it was delicious. He managed to ensure we all had a good time. We had 2 of our group apprehensive about the hike and the heights. By the time we reached our stopping point, the 2 were sitting on the edge of the overlook enjoying the views. We got to see 2 big horn sheep - spotted by Jon. He even recovered my sonā€™s hat that got blown off by the wind. This hike was the highlight of our visit. Not being hikers, we didnā€™t know what to expect - we were blown away. The only way to truly experience the canyon is to hike into it with Jon as your guide. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I had so much fun taking your family into the canyon. I know both kids had a blast and will never forget this one. You did amazing on the uphill and I'm glad we did a long hike. Seeing the smile on Evan's face was a big deal for me. Greatly appreciated, Jon

My husband and I did the sunset half day hike on the South Kaibab Trail with Jon and we agreed it was the highlight of our trip around Arizona and Utah. Jon provided everything we could possibly need - backpacks, poles, tons of water, snacks, a great meal (yes, the chicken wraps are as good as everyone says), sunscreen, toilet paper, everything! We watched him help clean up and bandage someone who had a minor fall in our first 5 minutes of the hike down and we knew we were with the right guide. We were a little nervous about doing the full 6 mile hike but he always set the right pace for our ability and we never felt rushed or exhausted. We agreed, we would never have attempted to hike as far as we did without a knowledgeable guide with us. If you want to feel like you really saw and experienced the Grand Canyon, book a hike with Jon!
